Do you remember that song? It was a hip hop song from the early 90s and I'm confident the only words were "a little bit of this and little bit of that".

I have no idea who the artist is.

Anywho.

God never ceases to amaze me.

Really.

Remember my downer post of how I didn't know what to do with my life, blah, blah, blah?

Well, last night we went to a surprise birthday party for one of our dear friends.

We ran into a few people that we seem to see everywhere and met some new friends.

Do you ever have those situations where you are just drawn to someone?

Last night that happened for me.

There was a lady I was just drawn to. Turns out we have a several mutual friends.

Anyway, we got to talking and both of us have been in similar situations.

We're going to meet up in a couple of weeks and just talk about a few things and a few options for me as well.

I know this is vague - truth is, it's kind of vague for me too.

But something about the short conversations I had with her last night has inspired me - rekindled a little hope and lit some sort of spark.

And that, is just downright exciting.

I really honestly feel like it was God telling me to hold on - He's got something for me.

So we'll see where this road takes me and then maybe I can tell you all a little bit about it.

But for now, can I ask something boldly of you?

Can I ask you, dear fellow blog readers, to pray for me (if it's your thing)?

Could you just ask God to speak clearly to me?

I'm not real good at detecting signs. I really like things spelled out on a bright neon sign.
