checking off the bucket list!

y'all. i've been a weepy mess this week.
there are quite a few factors to this madness:
PMS
the anniversary of mom's death
the anniversary of granddaddy's death
mother's day
a crazy work week
college graduation
vacation

all. this. week.

needless to say, my emotions and hormones and stress level have been on overload.
poor chris had to deal with my ugly cry at dinner last night.
he knows when that lip puckers up....it's a comin and there's no stopping it.
he saw it happening, and bless him, he said "oh no, no, no, please don't do that!"
bahahaha.

i bawled all over the land of public places yesterday.
the post office.
the mother's day card isle at walmart.
my couch.
the dinner table.
oy.

i think i'm a bit weepy in general because a major milestone is happening this week.
i've been working on this dang bachelor's degree for 11.5 years.
seriously...who takes that long!?

but honestly, as i reflect, i'm kind of glad.
i don't fit into a perfect mold and for far too long i kept trying to.
it's like that toddler toy where you try to match the wooden blocks with their shapes.
and i think i've finally let go of that for a bit.

and as i reflect, it brings me back to that lovely old 30 before 30 list that i created years ago.
i have 4 months left of being 30 and i've really done a lot.
in addition to the "x" marks, i accomplished a few others:
i got that other tattoo
i went to paris
i graduated college
i ran part of a 5k - that counts right?
i had those 30 days of quiet time with God - it was actually 42.

in all reality, i'm pretty proud of the things i have done in these 30 years.
it's been nothing short of adventurous.
i've lived in 3 states, moved 14 times.
we kind of go where the wind takes us.
we've traveled.
we've had fun.

and now, quite honestly, i'm a bit more excited for the next 30 years.
at some point, you have to stop desiring God's path for other people and embrace the one He has for you.

so to God, I say "let's do this."

others - and the power they have

I have a problem.
this is nothing new, but something I have struggled with for years and years.

you see, i care far too much what others think of me.
i've always been a people pleaser. always. somewhere along the way i developed the need for people to think i was great. the mere thought that someone could ever say something bad about me crushes my spirit.

here lately, it's been getting in the way quite a bit.
i feel like it's the biggest thing keeping me stagnant in life these days.
and honestly, it's more about what family thinks about me than anything.
you know those people who are supposed to accept, love and encourage you no matter what.
but more times than not i feel that i spend my time justifying my life in order to get that acceptance, love and encouragement.
whether it is true or not, that's how my heart perceives it.

i find that instead, i tend to keep everything i feel bottled up and only tell the necessities.
and as a result, i feel more disconnected from family than i ever have in my life.
and that's a really lonely place to be.

i know without a shadow of a doubt that God has awesome things in store for me and chris.
this life of ministry, well it's complicated.
and this past year has been one of the most stressful times of struggle i have encountered in a very, very long time.
and i feel like that people just don't get it.
i wish that someone would pick up the phone and say "hey, i know this is a tough time right now and I love you and will stand behind you no matter what" without ending it with some backhanded comment that infuriates me.
and then i worry myself with the whispers that go on behind my back about what a ridiculous life i lead.
for all i know, there are none and i worry myself for nothing. if only that were the case.

i know that there are many of  you who struggle with this as well.
needing approval from others....or maybe just one person in your life in order to feel complete.
but God has never told me to care what others think.
He has only ever told me to focus on Him, and Him alone.
why is that so hard? why does my flesh fail so often?

even Jesus had to leave his hometown to do effective ministry.
is that because family always thinks they know the better path for you?

there's a song called God's Not Dead and the chorus is "my God's not dead, He's surely alive and He's living on the inside, roaring like a lion.."
and then I saw the quote above "The greatest fear in the world is of the opinions of others, and the moment you are unafraid of the crowd, you are no longer a sheep, you become a lion. A great roar arises in your heart, the roar of freedom"

if God is truly roaring inside of us, then it has to be compelling us to be different.
when i look at scripture, Jesus was made fun of and talked about behind his back - by the very people who were supposed to be on his side. he was thought to have been crazy or sacrilegious for hanging with the lowliest and dirtiest of people. YET HE DID NOT CARE. He let them talk.

Jesus experienced the struggles we have. He knows what it is like to be scoffed at.

At the end of the day, if I know that God is pleased with me and that I have His approval, then nothing else matters.
No one else's opinion of me matters.

It's time to stop living in the bondage of what I think others think of me and live in freedom....roaring freedom.

And then there's Katy Perry. She released her new single yesterday and it's oh so perfect. You should listen to ROAR

organization is a good thing right?

i mean i thought it was a good thing.
and so did hubs.
so about a week ago he got the bug to unpack all of the boxes we had stashed away in the closets and organize everything.
it was desperately needed....i mean honestly we had NO closet space.
we have done lots of downsizing before, but for some reason, this move was a particularly hard one for unpacking.

and so we pulled everything out.
well....this is what happened:

looks amazingly organized right?
if you only knew how stressed out this made us!
so we headed to the grand ol' wal-mart to purchase organization tools!
and this weekend, we managed to get the last of it all cleaned up.
well with the exception of a few minor things still looking for their "spot".
i'll be posting the "after" pictures in a couple of days...you know, once everything has finally found it's spot.
but i can assure you it looks nothing like this!

what is your best organizational tidbit?

5/1/13

madness i tell you, simply madness.

my life is ridiculously crazy. always has been, always will be.
we also always pick the most amazing times to move.
this time we decided it would be great to move during my busiest time of year at work and school.
and somehow, though i am surprised, i survived it all.
so please forgive the absence on the bloggy.
the good news - i'm back to humanity!
and the even better news is that i have so much to tell you!

ok, by now you know we just moved from texas to north carolina. it's an absolutely beautiful little mountain town. and in the mornings, from my couch, i get to watch the sun rise over the mountains.
oh be still my heart!

we've been here about a week and a half.
it was an interesting ride to say the least.
wallace got the middle seat!

we managed to follow a line of storms for 20 hours. yes, 20 hours, nonstop. driving the uhaul and towing the car, along with driving slower to get through the pouring rain added an extra 5 hours to the trip.
chris was over.it.

but we made it.
we didn't bring our couch because it was quite crappy and we had been saving forever for a sectional.
delivery was going to take 4 weeks...which meant 4 weeks of us sitting in camping chairs.
no thanks.
so we headed to charlotte to get it ourselves.
we had every intention of having the store deliver it, but someone convinced it it would fit in the car.
um no, no it didn't.
so we had 2 boxes in the car, 2 ginormous boxes strapped to the top of the car, and headed home.
just like the beverly hillbillies.

and yet, somehow we made it.

the animals are happy.....for the most part.

wallace has managed to calm down. he was acting out for a few days.
barking, escaping, eating used sanitary items from the garbage. GAH-ROSS!!!!!!
it was terrible. just terrible.
we didn't know he got into the garbage.....until chris went to let him out the next morning and he had puked in his pin.
chris called me in and said "honey, what is this?"
"well dear, that there is a tampon."
AGGGGHHHHH!
GAG GAG GAG.
i've never seen chris so utterly grossed out.
tmi? i know, i know.

in other more uplifiting news....i wore an outfit with leggings for the first time ever.
yes i did.
i left the house in leggings and looked cute.
it was a big day in my life.

and there you have it. that has literally been the highlights of my past 3 weeks.
woo.
but don't you worry, i've got more fun to come.

4/10/13

Faithful.

so let's talk about this upcoming move we're about to embark on.
God has seriously been doing some crazy things in my heart and making me realize a lot about myself.
and yet, even in spite of myself, God still does amazing things.

ok, let's just say that the job chris took here in texas wasn't all that it was made out to be.
and so we spent a good portion of our time here in texas in a constant state of anxiety and stress.
i have never experienced anxiety like this in all my life.
and literally probably one of the loneliest times in my life. literally, the only thing we had to look forward to were my niece and nephew's ball games on saturdays (which were awesome by the way).

so here we were, resources very limited, both financially and socially.
two months of job searching later, we're moving to north carolina.

but let me share the many ways God has been working in this...
  • we're moving to an area that we have had a heart to move to for years. let me clarify...we literally sat in a parking lot in the town 20 minutes away from where we're moving, FOUR years ago and asked God to bring us there. and just when we thought the door was completely closed, here we are.
  • there are financial pieces that have fallen into place in a way that only God could do
  • God is giving us an opportunity to pour heart and soul into a community that needs it. to be honest, i've missed that.
  • there are mountains. enough said. ;)
  • there are seriously so many layers, that i honestly don't even know how to put it into words. all i know is that i am wholly committed to God and that means that a lot of people, including family, do not understand my life.
  • the song that's been on repeat lately - "oceans" by hillsong united.
    • "spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, let me walk upon the waters, wherever you would call me. lead me deeper than my feet could ever wonder, and my faith would be made stronger, in the presence of my Savior"
several weeks ago i posted about needing spring in my life.
well, it looks as though spring has sprung!

4/3/13

oh the good lord works in mysterious ways.

for the past week, i've been out of town, which in turn has made the ol' blog a roo take a vacation.
i wish i could say i was vacation.
i have been an overwhelmed stressed out mess.
there were tears involved and gnashing of teeth.
but i think i'm good now.

the good news is that i've spent the last few days in the beautiful north carolina mountains.
i could totally live here.
oh wait, i'm actually moving here in a few weeks.

no joke.

my life should be a book series.
and then a tv mini-series.
and then a full feature film.
it's THAT good, lol.

texas was definitely an experience.
and at this moment, that's all i want to say about it. ;)
but north carolina seems to be much more welcoming as far as community to plug into.
all i feel like saying for now, is that we're taking a humongous leap of faith.
and the scripture that God keeps bringing to mind, on a daily basis i might add, is "walk by faith and not by sight".
so we're obeying. and walking. maybe crawling. maybe running. i'm not sure, but we're moving at least.
and it's scary. but in a good way.
there are so many ridiculous layers of god working in this that i don't even know how to put it into words.
which is part of the reason that i don't want to talk about it at the moment.

dear friends, be careful the prayers that you pray because God will use them in a mighty way.

current lesson being learned:
 - we are called to ministry (well this is not new news). and when you're called, it's about the mission, not your personal preference. it's about the message and the people, not the bells and whistles.

i'm thinking we should just buy an rv to live in so it would make our moves a lot easier. haha.

3/8/13

the joy of my life

it's friday friends!!!! and fridays mean something awesome over at kelly's korner.
today we're showing off our nieces and nephews.
woot woot!
i have 2 nephews, 1 niece, and 1 unknown on the way! eeeek!
words absolutely cannot express my love for these kids.
like seriously, no words.

my family history is a little weird.
and due to a lot of circumstances out of my control, i missed a lot of life with my brothers. and by a lot, we're talking...well really like 29 years. i didn't know them growing up, and when i came in the picture, they all lived out of state. So while I saw them once a year, it wasn't really enough to build strong relationships.
it has been difficult to have wanted closeness with them for so long, but it's hard to do when you're 700 miles apart.

so enter last summer when i packed my happy little butt up and moved to texas.
yep, sure did.
but what i have gotten out of the last 8 months has filled my heart oh so full.
i don't have kids of my own due to a long infertile journey, but these 3, soon to be 4, hold my heart in their hands.

i've had random lunches with these sweet faces.
this is jade and jordi. they're my oldest brother's children and they're just the most precious love bugs in the whole wide world.

this one here....yep a heart breaker on the rise for sure.

there's been saturdays at the ball field.
honestly no other way i'd rather spend a saturday.

birthday parties. seriously, my first birthday party with her. jade's is coming this summer!

slumber parties. heart overflowing here.

family photos. this is one of my faves from that day ;)

i guess i should probably acknowledge the ones that made them, haha.
this family right here.....i love beyond words.

also last summer, my baby brother had his first child.
i flew in the morning after he was born.
i never knew how instantaneous love could be....it was love at first site.

this is cove. the most precious little fella.

cove had a cleft lip and palette, so the first few months were quite the journey.
he had his first surgery in the fall and  it's amazing what doctors can do.
this sweet boy still has a long road ahead, but he's gonna make it out just fine.

his diddy. look at that baby smile!!!!

i could seriously eat him. he's got the fattest little legs and i love, love, love them.

little man has a tight grip on my hair here. he's a strong one, that's for sure.

hanging with uncle chris. i'd be scared of the beard too little man.

and only the world's cutest bumble bee! and he's got a baby bro/sis on the way!

for christmas i got this awesome necklace with all 3 of their names on it. looks like i'm going to have to add a name soon!

in all honesty, the past 8 months have been quite a....well let's go with "transition" for chris and i.
but the time i have got to spend with my family it worth it all and more.
i am just beyond thankful to have the opportunity to strengthen my relationships with all 3 of my brothers and get to be a part of their lives.

3/7/13

heart stuff.

tuesday was not a good day for me.
it was just rather....well depressing.
i think the homesickness has finally set in a bit.
it's not that i want to move back, it's just that i miss my relationships.

i've heard people talk often about how things are different when you move away.
i thought surely they were lying.
but its true.....my relationships in ga have changed.
not necessarily bad, but not the same.

so while wallowing in my self pity on tuesday of how i had no friends or place of belonging.....i don't really have "my people" anymore...god, as usual stepped in to ease my heart a little.

some friends we have made out here randomly met us for dinner last night.
"randomly"= god ordained ;)

i got a text message out of the blue from one of my besties that was just a "hey i was thinking about you and i miss you"
"out of the blue"= god ordained

my granny called just to tell me i was on her mind and that she loved and missed me
"just to tell me"= god ordained

god knew that my heart was sad and needed a little pick me up, and that's just what he gave me.
when will i ever learn?

in other exciting news, the church we visited a couple of weeks ago offers a bible study for ladies experiencing infertility. i am SO excited about this. it starts next week and i can not wait. i've been needing something like this for so so long.

again - god's listening to my heart.

i just love so much how god knows my heart and knows just what i need just when i need it.
and i'm oh so very thankful for it.

11/28/12

home sweet home

we are super loving our new home! it's awesome.
we are absolutely positively beyond blessed.

here's a little before decoration tour....

the back yard - and wallace

the entry way/dining room/living room

the living room/kitchen

hallway and master bedroom...wallace is totally photo bombing all of them!

the master bath and other bedrooms

and then there's wallace again. remember how i told you that he didn't know what to do in the back yard? well this is pretty much what he does all day! silly goose!

so now we are slowly getting unpacked and decorated for christmas.
trust me...there will be pics of christmas decor!
the lady who we got the house from gave me her two christmas trees. one's a 4 footer and the other is a white 6 footer. i'm trying to get brave enough to embrace the white!

11/25/12

Wow.

What an absolutely crazy whirlwind of a holiday weekend! In a good way of course!

We moved into our new house saturday and I absolutely love it beyond words!
Out dog Wallace has no clue what to do in our big back yard. He literally sits in a chair outside and stares at the grass. It's hilarious!
This post is brought to you courtesy of my iPhone since we won't have Internet until sometime Monday. I will post a post worthy of reading at that time!
Until then, happy Monday and I hope you all had a wonderfully blelessed thanksgiving!

The Scary Room

So I have this room, and well, it's pretty scary.
I have come to realize that most people have a scary room.
You know, that one room where everything accumulates that doesn't have a "home".

Here's the current sad state of my scary room:

Yikes! And I work in this every day!
But fear not, i have some awesome plans for this room.
It WILL be colorful and fun.
Definitely not scary.

I think some fabric garland will do the trick. And of course the framed fabric in the window!

I believe a daybed will be the best bet for this room.

With lighting sconces of course. I super love these.

Here's another option for fabric garland.

Maybe a fun chandelier or some vinyl saying on the wall. I love the fun pillows.

And yes, there must be some pom pom burlap curtain ties!

I love how fresh and clean this one feels:

So now to find the $$ to make the most perfect collection of all of these elements. I'm determined to make this awesome.
Because I'm awesome and need an awesome workspace. Just kidding...kind of.
I feel that I should hand all handmade artwork in here.
Oh, the possibilities are endless.

Don't worry, I'll be sure to document this along the way.
I guess my starting point should probably be to go through the rest of the boxes!

8/1/12

New Month, New State, New Life

happy august y'all!
back up...can you believe it's august already?
that means that christmas is right around the corner!!!!
oh yay, my favorite!

ok i won't take us to christmas time just yet.

so with a new move comes new changes.
even better to start those changes in a new month!

i've got a whole list of things i want for our new life in the great state of texas.
like a schedule for quiet time.
a schedule for working out.
a nose ring.
a new tattoo.
a new style.
a new me!

so far i have decided that a red-orange nail polish will be my signature color.
i have also decided i want to wear scarves in my hair.
working from home allows me to change up my style a bit and i'm super excited.

yesterday i decided i needed a new skin care regimen too.
so i'm trying boscia.
have you used it? heard of it?
supposedly it's all natural and preservative free.
that has to be good right?
i just bought the trial kit, so we'll see.
i think i like it...2 days in.

on a different note - i seriously think i may be addicted to taco bueno.
we've had it like 4 times in the last 4 days.

and moving right along...let's talk about r-pat and k-stew also known as robert and kristen and their sad break up. it is seriously on every channel and every magazine. about like tom and katie. i love some entertainment news as much as the next gal, but i kind of feel sad that their heart ache is being so over publicized....and that people care so much about it.

and so let me bring this completely full circle and ask your opinion on a some beauty items.
what is your must have beauty product?
what is your must have hair product?

7/29/12

God. Is. Able.

moving to texas has been kind of a big deal.
this is the first time i've ever lived somewhere other than georgia.
i've desired to be here for a while; to be here close to my family.
to embark on a new chapter of life.
and when we started talking and praying about this several months ago, i had no idea how big god would be in all this.
i mean, it's what i prayed for...that god would be big in this. but i guess i wasn't really expecting him to show up so large.
that's totally contradicting what my faith should be.
but you know, like a lot of people, sometimes we miss the bigness of god.
our god is bigger than we let him be.

he has truly been so utterly amazing.
from every single detail.
just like we prayed for.

he worked out every single piece of this move. from the job chris got, to the money he's making (the exact amount we needed to make the move), to living arrangements, to finances to get through the move....and the list goes on and on.

if you've been a blog follower for long, you know that my life motto is god is able.
if not, you can see this post that sums it up. the song god is able by hillsong has been such a huge part of my life. and ephesians 3:20 where the song comes from, even more so.

so wouldn't you know that when we attended our new church today (where chris will be working) for the first time, the very first song they sang was "god is able".
chris and i just looked at each other...i mean seriously?
every single detail - god has been there.

he's showing me that he cares for every desire of our hearts, big and small.
every concern we have, he cares about. every detail, he will work out.

for example, i was worried about the landscape of texas, yet the town he moved us to has a lake and greenery and hills!

i really can't explain or put into words all that god has done in this transition.
but what i can say is that he cares for you. all of you. every part of you.
and more than anything, he is able to do immeasurably more than we could hope or ask (eph 3:20).

7/28/12

Texas Randomness

Have you ever had Taco Bueno?
Oh my, so good. It's like Taco Bell but way better.
Equally as cheap! Definitely hit the spot.

Fat Tire beer. Yup I tried it tonight.
The jury is still out but I'm pretty sure I probably won't have it again.

My Cat From Hell.
Have you seen this on Animal Planet?
Amazing that that is the show of choice on Saturday night.

I went grocery shopping today.
I'm completely in love with the Kroger here.
All of the produce comes from local Texas farms.
Umm yes please.

Napping.
That is what our afternoon consisted of.
Could be a result of the fact that we were up for 36 hours straight.
It's like jet lag.
Chris took a nap today. 2 hours.
Then I went to wake him up so we could go to the Saturday night service.
But I laid down and immediately fell asleep waking up an hour and a half later.
So looks like we'll be doing church tomorrow.
Surely we're caught up with sleep by now.

Tomorrow I think we might do a little sight seeing.
And hopefully I can come up with a few cool places to start "I Love Dallas" since Atlanta is 750 miles away.

There is so much unpacking to be done yet I find that this random blog post is much more important.

7/27/12

The Great State of Texas

Well....we're officially Texans!
We arrived yesterday afternoon and got the Uhaul unloaded.
Y'all, I got a bunch of stuff!!!

Last night we experienced In-N-Out burger for the first time.
Delish! For realio.
I was a lame-o and passed out around 8pm. I was SO tired.
It took us a little over 14 hours to get here.
We were a little concerned with how the cats would handle that long of a car ride.
Much to our surprise, they were awesome and slept the whole time.
And they're loving our new place!

The garden tub is amazing. I took a fabulous stress relieving bath tonight and it was just perfect.

We're slowly but surely getting settled in. So far I've unpacked the kitchen and our bedroom closet.
Lots and lots to go.
Oh yes, I got my home office up and running.
Jackson is super excited about my new working arrangements.
This quite possibly is my favorite picture ever.

Once we get everything unpacked, I'll video a little tour. We found an awesome little man out here to build us a custom farm table for our dining room. Super excited about that. And of course there will be pictures to come.

Tomorrow night we're going to go to our new church for the first time. I can't wait. And the awesome part is that we get to sleep in Sunday morning! We haven't done that in so long!

 Enjoy your weekend my friends!

6/7/10

We Did It!

Yes, we're finally all moved in.
And by moved in, I mean all of our belongings are in boxes in the middle of rooms in our house!
But it's all there.
The paint is fabulous! I am in love with the colors!
I will post pics.
At the moment, I'm not exactly sure where my camera is.
What I'm most excited about is the new scrapbook/craft area! I can't really put it all into words, so pictures will come of that too!
The kitties are settling in.
Getting in to EVERYTHING!
The hubs has become quite the handy many!
Well with the exception of one small outlet explosion.
Not his fault tho.
Not sure who's fault it really is.
So yes, it's coming together and I am exhausted!
Unfortunately, all you're getting from me today is this boring post.
But then again, we can't really expect much more for a Monday! :)

6/1/10

OMG, Wallpaper, Bieber, Bugs, etc., etc., etc.

Well hello there my blogging peeps! I hope you had a most fabulous long weekend!
Our weekend was quite filled. Like burstin' out the seems filled.
And that gives me soooo much to share with you!
I think it's best that I do this in list form.
  • I had 3 photo shoots this weekend. So. Much. Fun. Two cute little girls Saturday morning (pics to come), a wedding Saturday afternoon, and an engagement session Sunday morning. Fabulousness.
  • The e-session Sunday was about an hour away from where I live - so I listened to Billy Bush's top 40 countdown. I am now up to date on all the hip music.
  • Do you have Bieber Fever? No worries, I don't. I'm just amazed that the kid has like 4 songs on the Top 40 list right now. I heard all of them Sunday.
  • Have you heard the song OMG by Usher and Will.i.am? I think I love it. I don't want to, but I do (it's kind of cheesy). "Whoa Oh Whoa Oh, Whoa Oh Whoa Oh"
  • We pretty much performed an exorcism on the house we're about to move into this week. It's Chris' g-ma's house, and well she's like 84 and can't really see what's dirty or really physically clean it the way it needs to be cleaned. We literally overhauled the house. Not finished yet but we are making progress. We cleaned walls, baseboards, pulled up carpet, and........tore down wall paper. Can I just say that removing wallpaper is PURE HELL! I am convinced that there are people in hell right now perpetually removing wall paper glue. OMG! But, it is finished. The painters are coming this week to pretty the place up.
  • Along that same note, there was a dog that was in this house for a while. And well, since the only floor with carpet is the bathroom (why would you put carpet in the bathroom?) it's a bit infested with fleas. To the point that my mother in-law went to potty and was attacked by at least 20 of them. No worries tho, we sprayed the crap out of that room with some Hot Shot. And the bug man is coming today to get rid of them once and for all!
  • And, as I know this may be TMI, it is my special time of the month. And you know what is amazing? I went through this whole weekend being nice! Well except for a slight breakdown around 11:45 pm last night. I was tired, irritable, things weren't going my way, and I had a little screaming/crying issue. But all is well with the world for now.
  • AND I apologized for my disturbing meltdown behavior. That is big in itself.
  • Also, because I know you're still stuck on the carpet in the bathroom thing, we're pulling it up.
  • It's going to be soooo cute when we're done. I am so sorry I did not take pictures of the awful sunflower wallpaper before removing. I would have liked to looked back on that one day! :)
  • Oh yes, and how did I miss Phil Wickham? I just discovered his music this weekend and I'm shocked as to how his stuff has not made it to my ears before now! I bought his album Canons. So. Very. Good.

So now it's Tuesday, and somehow I have to manage to work, deliver 4 photo projects, pack my apartment, and move by Friday. Oh dear!

100 (meaningless) points to whoever can name the movie that the phrase "etcetera, etcetera, etcetera" is from! It's one of my all time favorites!

Alright my friends, have a super-dee-duper Tuesday!

Moving On Up

Well, it's finally happening - we're moving out! We move in 9/19! Only two weeks! Luckily everything we own is packed up in the basement, so it's just a matter of loading it up and moving it out. We got an apartment off of Barrett Parkway. I'm glad to be able to have a place of our own and I know our cats will be too!

On another note, I found great news last week! My SAT scores are high enough that I don't have to take the GACE test to get into the education program! YAY!!!! That takes so much stress off my plate for this semester.

I believe it is spastic colon Sunday! That's what happens when you don't want to work on Monday!
