Me, Myself and I

I'm a sucker for a good blog party!
So I'm joining in this month for Me, Myself and I.

1. What is your favorite season?
BY FAR it's fall. OMG I've expressed my ridiculous love for all things fall a million times. I just can't help it. There's something about fall that does something amazing for my soul. I'm serious. It's probably the thing I'm missing the very most from Georgia right now. Apparently Texas doesn't really do seasons. We get hot or cold.

2. Talk about a moment that changed your life.
There's been many life changing moments over the years. But I'd have to say the most recent real life changing moment was in regards to my struggles with infertility and how Ephesians 3:20 rocked my world. It happened actually almost a year ago this week! You can check out that post HERE.

3. If you could be any crayola crayon color, what would you be and why?
Ok, so my favorite crayon as a kid was cerulean. It made my heart super happy and I used it every chance I could. According to the Crayola website, the personality traits of this color are calm, soothing and relaxed. Ahhhh. These days it would probably go with Robin's Egg Blue. Crayola describes this as serene, gentleness and sincerity. I mean honestly, who couldn't use a little gentleness, serenity and sincerity?

4. Describe yourself as a superhero: Superpower? Name? Sidekick?
Wow-super hero huh? I'd like to be one of the power puff girls. I super duper love them and who doesn't love a little girl power? I'd be more like Bubbles...well, because I'm a bit bubbly!
5. If you had all the money in the world and could only shop at 3 stores, where would you shop?
I think Amazon would be a definite because you can pretty much get everything.
Let's go with a super target too....goodness and groceries all in one place.
Does Etsy count as a store? No? Ok then, let's go with Bloomingdale's. I choose Bloomies because I've never been able to afford to shop there and generally I'm too thrifty to pay high price for an outfit. But if I've got endless money options, Bloomies here I come!

  1. Great post, Lauren! And it just reiterates how much we have in common.
First, Fall is my favorite season, too! Just this morning I was telling Josh that I wish we could find an area of the world that was in a perpetual state of Fall. He reminded me that living in the Pacific Northwest is about as close as you can get haha.

I love Bubbles. Great super hero choice!

Now comes the weird part... my favorite color growing up was cerulean blue, too (runner-up was Tickle Me Pink out of the 100 crayon big box). I used it all the time - it was always the first of my crayons to turn nubby. For the longest time, I thought cerulean was pronounced "sirloin," which made sense to me because I thought some sirloin steaks had blue veins/muscles in them and that's where I thought they got the crayon's name from. Lol.

    1. That is awesome! I used to think cerulean was "chlorine" and it made total sense to me because it looked like the blue specks in chlorine tablets!!!
