What I'm Thankful For

It's Thanksgiving! Sooooo, I thought I would make a list of everything I'm thankful for. Get in the spirit people!
I am thankful for (in no particular order):
A God who is always by my side
The 22 years I got to spend with the best mom anyone could ever ask for
A wonderful husband who loves me despite ALL of my shortcomings
The world's greatest friends
An all around fabulous family (mine and my in-laws)
My sweet kitties
A roof over my head
Car to get from point A to point B
My job
The fact that I am a free American
Our troops over seas ensuring our freedom
Talent and creativity
And so much more...

I have truly been blessed.

I'm Back!

Well, I've become really bad at posting lately! What is this once a week crap? Sorry! There just really hasn't been anything too terribly interesting to blog about. I have been so crazy busy with school. It's terrible! This is the last week before finals, so EVERYTHING is due all at once! I'm supposed to be working on an 8 page paper that's due on Saturday. Guess what? I haven't even started!!!!! AND I have 2 papers and a project due tomorrow night. Haven't done that either! Needless to say, I am extremely less than pleasant to be around. However, I have taken time out to do the following things:
Scrapbook with my girls
Take pictures
Gripe at Chris
oh,....and have a slight mental breakdown! Those are always exciting!

Anyway, after Saturday, I'll have a little tiny bit of breathing room. We'll see.
On the up side, I am excited for Thanksgiving. Well, I absolutely HATE all food associated with T-Day, but I love the family time. We are going to spend the first part of the day with Chris's family and then have afternoon desserts with mine!
Yum-O! Then I may go with my best friend shopping the day after. Probably not tho because I am broker than broke.
I am supposed to go Saturday afternoon to do a photo shoot with a local model. We'll see how that turns out! Ok, well that's my rant for the day. I'm sure I'll have more to complain about by the weekend!!! :)

Happy Anniversary!

So as most of you know, Chris was on tour last week with some of my favorite bands! Since he was there, he has an all access pass backstage! So, yesterday was our anniversary and we were able to go hang out at the Third Day show in Johnson City, TN. It was amazing! There are a few pics below. I literally spent all afternoon with the band. With Chris's pass, we were able to sit anywhere and see the show from all different angles! I had dinner with the band and carried on a conversation with Mac Powell, the lead singer of Third Day. Did I say it was amazing?!?!?! This was by far our best anniversary!

Excitement!

Well, it's official! Chris is on the tour bus with Revive and Third Day. He'll be back on Monday night! It's so exciting. Third Day is our most favorite band eva!!! He's driving to Grand Rapids, MI tonight and they have a show tomorrow. There are 6 shows in all that he's hanging out for. It's been so crazy how this all came about too! A couple of months ago Chris played with this band Everthird, they're some friends of ours, at a competition in Valdosta. Revive just happened to be there and Chris struck up conversation with them. Well about 4 weeks ago, Revive played at our church. While in line, we got to talking with the guitar player's wife, Steph and we exchanged numbers. Well low and behold, I ran into them in a restaurant and we made a dinner date. Long story short, we're really good friends now with Ty and Steph. That being said, Ty asked Chris to drive them for this leg of the tour! How exciting!!!
So, Chris has promised to take lots of pictures and, maybe a few video blogs. Soooo, I will post them as he sends them to me!!! YAY!

A Day in the Mountains

Today was a great day! Granny, Sissy and I went up to the North GA Mountains to see the beautiful colors of fall. It was gorgeous! I have more pictures of it on my photo blog. Here's a picture of me and my granny. I thought it turned out pretty cute. We had so much fun!

For the most part, life has been pretty boring this week. It's been crazy at school, so most of my free time has been studying. Yippee! Halloween was very uneventful as well. Hopefully this week will be a little more blogworthy!

Oh, and I finally finished my wedding scrapbook. I'll put some pictures of it up a little later!
