It's Tuesday....But The Weekend Was Great!

Hi friends!
I've just got to share my crazy (for me) weekend stories.
It was one of those where we went into it with no plans.....and then just did things spontaneously.
I love that.

So Friday night I had a girls night out with some of my faves from church.
We went to Fredrick's of Hollywood - you know the crazy lingerie store!
Yes I said my church friends.
What? God made sex.....and we're all married, so it was time to have a little fun.
We spent at least an hour trying on outfits and cheering each other on for what to buy!
So. Much. Fun!
And so out of character for me.....I'm proud of myself!
After outfits were purchased we headed out for sushi! Yuuuuummmmm!

Saturday Chris and I chilled out a bit and cleaned. I just LOVE the way a clean house smells and it has just made my week so much better waking up to everything clean!
Not that we usually live in a pigstye, but the last couple weeks we've been going like tornadoes!
So later that night, we decided a trip to walmart was in order.
I don't think I've mentioned it yet, but we got Chris a new-to-him truck.
It's a 96 Toyota 4Runner. With a 3 inch lift. And subs.
So needless to say, we cranked up the country music Saturday night and bumped right on through that walmart parking lot!
Hahaha! It was so funny.
And then we went to sonic, got us some yummy drinks (I'm loving the cranberry limeade) and drank them under the stars.
Just a good ol' fashioned redneck evening and it was lovely!

Sunday was awesome - church was fabulous. Our pastor spent the day talking about the struggle of comparing. This is something I've struggled with my whole life. I was in a video about it too!
I'll post it up here soon for you to see......love the song that goes with it. And my hubby made it. Awwww.

So that's about it. I know you're so glad you stopped in to read about my weekend - haha!
