Lots of big and wonderful things happening with the Thomas family these days.
Let's start with this one.....so....we're moving to the great state of Texas!
In 3 weeks! EEEEEEEEK!
As I've mentioned on this here bloggy, I have a lot of family in Texas.
And for quite some time, I've really been wanting to move closer.
I'm at a time in my life where I really need to work on those relationships and make them stronger.
And God, being awesome like He is, provided Chris with the most awesome job opportunity we could imagine...in Dallas. It's like he's going to the big leagues.
It's a wonderful wonderful time and opportunity!
I absolutely can not wait.
God is so so so good!!!
So yes, in 3 short weeks, I will be a Texan!
I'm so overwhelmend (in a great way) with all of this. It's like for the first time, my dreams are attainable. God's timing is so impecable and perfect. It makes the waiting not so bad when you see how He works everything out.
In other news, my nephew was born on Friday. I arrived in Austin yesterday and you couldn't pry this little fellow away from me if you tried! His name is Cove. And he's the most precious little thing I've ever seen.
Cove has a cleft lip and palate. He'll have his frist of 3 or 4 surgeries at 3 months. The first year will be a bit crazy, but after that, no one but us will ever know. He's got the sweetest cry I have ever heard in my life. Maybe I'm just a giddy new aunt! ;)
So yes, lots of big big things happening. But you know what they say....everything's bigger in Texas.

ReplyDeleteMy nephew was born with a cleft lip and palate. We'll be celebrating his 8th birthday Saturday, the first year is crazy but it's all worth it in the end :) Congratulations again!
